The 2025 Top 100 AI Champions in Global Mobility

The market is asking a better question. We are hiring people who can answer it.

Ask most Global Mobility teams what they want from a relocation provider and the answer has not really changed in twenty years. They want experienced consultants who look after their people. They want a supplier network that holds up in every market. They want someone accountable when a move goes sideways.

What has changed is everything sitting behind that. Mobility teams are now expected to control cost, evidence compliance, report to the business in real time and act as a strategic partner, all while the administrative load stays exactly where it was. The traditional RMC model was not built for that second job. It was built for the first one.

That gap is what our “More than an RMC” campaign is about. It is an education effort more than a sales pitch. A lot of the market still believes it has to choose: buy relocation services from an RMC, buy technology from a software vendor, then spend the rest of the year managing the seam between them. Our position is that this choice is no longer necessary. Benivo does everything a traditional RMC would do, and provides the Mobility Technology, automation and AI that help Mobility teams move from operations to strategy.

Today we are adding two people to help make that case.

Welcome Chris Murphy and Patrick Michaels

Chris Murphy joins us with more than 20 years of experience across Global Mobility and the travel industry. He began his career on the corporate HR side with Motorola, where he gained firsthand experience working closely with global mobility programs and stakeholders. He then went on to work with multiple leading relocation management companies and in the travel sector. Throughout his career, Chris has built deep industry expertise, developed strong client partnerships, and helped organisations navigate the evolving mobility and travel landscape. Chris knows what good looks like at the sharp end of a move.

Patrick Michaels has been entrenched in Global Mobility, five-star hospitality and travel for more than 20 years, most recently at Sterling Lexicon, a global relocation management company. Based in Philadelphia, he has held several executive leadership, consultative and business development positions, working with customers and colleagues across the US, UK, APAC and EMEA. He also serves the industry directly, as Marketing Co-Chair on the board of the New Jersey Relocation Council and Marketing Chair on the board of the New York Council of Relocation Professionals. Patrick knows precisely which parts of the traditional model clients quietly work around.

Both are focused primarily on our Relocation Services business, helping more organisations see what a modern alternative to the traditional RMC actually looks like in practice.

Why these two, and why now

Growing a sales team is easy to announce and harder to justify. Here is the honest reason.

The “More than an RMC” conversation is not won with a slide. It is won by people who have worked inside the traditional model, who can describe its constraints without caricaturing them, and who can then show what changes when relocation services and mobility technology sit on one platform. Chris and Patrick have both lived that model. They are not learning the category from a deck. Between them they also spend a good deal of their own time on industry boards and education, which is the same work this campaign is trying to do.

They also arrive with something to point at. Last year, Benivo managed more than 1,000 full-service VIP and executive relocations with a 9.1 out of 10 satisfaction score and zero consultant-level escalations. Our relocation consultants work with a vetted supplier network across more than 100 countries. Capgemini replaced its RMC with Benivo for high-touch relocation and saw 27% cost savings, 67% efficiency gains and a 200% improvement in employee experience. A Fortune 500 manufacturer achieved around $3.45 million in annual savings, roughly $6,000 per move.

Those numbers are not the argument on their own. They are the evidence that the argument holds.

What we are actually building

Our model is straightforward to describe and harder for the traditional structure to copy. Experienced relocation consultants stay at the centre of the service. The platform takes the administration off them: vendor tracking, payments, SLA monitoring, reporting, invoice review. Mobility Intelligence surfaces risk and answers routine employee questions, and identifies issues before they become escalations. The client gets single-point accountability across consultants, vendors, payments, SLAs, employee experience, compensation services, and reporting, rather than a set of relationships they have to hold together themselves.

Chris and Patrick stared this week. If you are rethinking your relocation program, or you simply want to understand what the alternative to the traditional RMC model looks like, they are good people to talk to.
