# Benivo's ISMS earns ISO 27001 certification

The Benivo team achieved a critical compliance milestone for our company and clients. We are pleased to announce that Benivo's Information Security Management System (ISMS) is now ISO 27001 certified.

ISO 27001 is one of the most widely recognized and internationally accepted information security standards. It provides requirements for establishing and maintaining an information security management system (ISMS) and defines how an organization should manage and treat information securely.

Over the past twenty months, we've implemented new controls to our ISMS help us better protect our clients’ data. To achieve the certification, Benivo’s security compliance was audited by an independent 3rd party who validated our systematic and complete approach with the ISMS to managing and protecting the company and customer data.

Benivo is committed to holding to the highest standard of security for the processes, people and technology powering our services. Protecting customer data is of the utmost importance to us and ISO 27001 certification of our ISMS is a critical milestone in an ongoing journey to maintain market-leading information security compliance.
