Immigration Update, July 20, 2022

In case you missed this week's The View From The Top, here is the Immigration update for the week of July 20, 2022 from Fragomen's Julia Onslow Cole.

In this show Julia focused her update on Europe with some important notes:

Brexit:  Given the recent increase in travel, the impact from changes to Brexit are starting to impact U.K. citizens

  • You can only travel to Europe for 180 days in a rolling period
  • Tighter control at borders
  • Huge backlogs and congestion with appointments, and long processing times

Increase in posted worker issues

The war for talent - lots of competition and low unemployment is making it difficult to find skilled workers

Listen to Julia's complete update and the importance of workforce planning in light of the above challenges.
