At Benivo, we recognize the concerns surrounding the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in the HR tech industry. As a technology company committed to upholding the highest standards of data privacy and information security, we have developed this statement to clarify our approach to the use of AI and ML technologies.

Our Use of AI and ML

It is important to note that we do not use machine learning at Benivo, or permit our subprocessors to use machine learning, for the purpose of analyzing Personal Identifiable Information (“PII”). We do use AI for monitoring purposes to ensure that vendors meet service level agreements in a timely manner, automate processes, conduct generic tax calculations, and streamline payment processes. At no point do we permit an AI or ML tool to access any PII.

Our Commitment to Responsible Use of AI and ML

We want to assure our clients that we do not use AI to assess, evaluate, or track the performance of client employees. We also do not use AI to match employees to job opportunities or evaluate them in any other way. As a result, Benivo does not use AI to make employment decisions or to profile employees based on protected characteristics.
