Parts 1 and 2:
The ShoeMars Reward Challenge

Michael Piker & Peter Newhouse are set to facilitate an exciting new masterclass focused on reward innovation. The masterclass will comprise three highly interactive sessions, with participants developing a reward framework for ShoeMars, a highly successful direct-to-consumer, hi-tech company listed on the Nasdaq exchange. ShoeMars builds a unique supply chain that sources 3D printed shoes from the poorest parts of both the developed and developing world. The company's values-driven approach means that it sources talent from all over the world into a mix of roles, some on the ground, and others in the virtual world.

As global mobility continues to shape the world of work, it is essential to understand how to reward a diverse and international workforce fairly. Therefore, the masterclass will explore how ShoeMars can reward its people effectively, given its global mobility context and its mix of virtual and physical working locations.

The facilitators, Michel Piker & Peter Newhouse, have worked with some of the world's most forward-thinking companies, business leaders, and reward professionals to foster innovation, disrupt thinking, and improve knowledge on how to inspire people through better reward management.

The world of work is evolving faster than anyone imagined, with organizational change through hybrid and agile ways of working, coupled with technology, making work more fluid and responsive. The way we reward our people needs to keep pace with these changes. It's time for Reward Transformation. It's time to rethink how we value, recognize, and reward our people fairly. It's time to take Reward to the next level.

The ShoeMars Reward challenge will provide participants with a unique opportunity to confront the significant challenges that organizations face when rewarding a diverse and international workforce. Through the challenge, participants will work towards developing better solutions that can be tailored to different organizations, regions and cultures. Attendees will learn what others are doing differently, what works, and what doesn't. The masterclass will help build the competence and confidence to think differently and take inspiration to transform an organization's approach to reward.

Part 3 of the masterclass will provide an opportunity for attendees to reflect interactively on what has been learned in the first two sessions. It will:

  • Explore how to apply the learnings from the ShoeMars Reward Challenge in different global mobility contexts
